We raise between 40,000 to 60,000 fingerlings (baby fish) for about 6 weeks at the pond, which are then released into the Pike River and Lake Michigan. The feeding and care of the fingerlings and maintenance of the pond are all made possible from membership dues and sponsoring member contributions. This spring project helps increase the salmon fishing experience in Kenosha, as the salmon come back to spawn. To date over 2.5 million salmon raised and released.
